Soul Sister is an energetic new musical inspired by the life of pop diva Tina Turner and her turbulent romance with her late husband Ike. The story, bursting with passion, follows the ups and downs of the disco queen’s often heartbreaking relationship and crumbling marriage to Ike Turner.
The jukebox musical, created John Miller and Pete Brooks, showcased Tina Tuner’s chart topping classics such as ‘What’s Love Got To Do With it’, ‘River Deep Mountain High’ and ‘Simply the Best’, as the show follows her rollercoaster ride through fame.
Following a successful three week run at the Hackney Empire in April 2012, Soul Sister took up West End residency at the Savoy Theatre for just over a month.
