    I don’t know how to thank one of your staff members enough for his incredibly kind, efficient and understanding service he displayed today. The manager, Mark who works in your box office at The Savoy Theatre truly impressed me above any level of service I have received anywhere today. I had raised a complaint with the team reached on the 0844 number as my mum had called to book The Royal Box for my dad’s birthday and his last visit to London (sufferer of Huntington’s Disease. She was told on the phone that the producer of ‘Funny Girl’ was allowing wheelchair users only into the Royal Box and they would not sell her a ticket. I tried myself and had the same response from the duty manager there who could only escalate my complaint to another department. I did not hear back following my complaint so decided to pop into The Savoy theatre and see what they say.

    Mark overheard my conversation with one of his colleagues and immediately stepped in to say that it was firstly completely not true but that Royal Box seats had not been released yet but they were not sure why yet or whether they would be. He took my details and told me he’d get back to me with more information within 24 hours. Just a couple of hours later, he had released the Royal Box seats which meant my parents had the pick of any day or time they wanted and not only that, he gave them a discounted rate. My mum was absolutely over the moon and I am too.

    I will pop down and thank Mark myself this week at some point but I just had to express to somebody within the team to give him recognition for such great customer service. It goes a million miles!
