The Savoy Theatre is located inside the entrance to The Savoy along the Strand, which is one of London’s busiest streets. Several West End theatres are situated along this street, with the Adelphi, Vaudeville and Lyceum all located near to the Savoy Theatre. Due to the location, the area has plenty of places to eat, drink and shop, being close to Covent Garden, Leicester Square and Piccadilly Circus, which are all close to a number of transport links.

Tube and Rail

Savoy Theatre is close to Charing Cross underground, which links to the Bakerloo and Northern lines, as well as National Rail links. Travelling on the Northern line will also take you to mainline stations such as Kings Cross St Pancras and Euston, and will also take you across central London. Located about 3 minutes away, Charing Cross station can get busy at peak hours, so Covent Garden is another option, roughly 10 minutes from the theatre. This is on the Piccadilly line, which also links to Kings Cross St Pancras.

Several bus routes run through the Strand. Check bus timetables and routes before relying on these services.

Car and Taxi

For those wishing to drive to the theatre, the nearest car park is the Trafalgar Square Spring Gardens car park. However, this can be a fairly expensive way of getting to the theatre as the tariff starts at around £35 for a day’s parking and is often busy. It could be a better option to hail a taxi from any rank around the city, as this is often cheaper than attempting to park in central London.
